Anurag University (formerly Anurag Group of Institutions) has been officially
recognized by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, as a Host
Institution (HI) to establish a Business Incubator (BI) under the scheme
“Support for Entrepreneurial and Managerial Development of MSMEs through
Incubators."

This recognition enables the University to support innovative ideas, provide
incubation facilities, and promote entrepreneurship and start-up
development.

Anurag University, through its sponsoring body, has been recognized
as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO) by the
Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) under
the Scheme for Recognition of Scientific and Industrial Research
Organisations (SIROs), 1988.

This prestigious recognition enables Anurag University to receive
administrative support from DSIR, Ministry of Science &
Technology, to further strengthen, promote, and facilitate scientific
research activities within the University.

The SIRO status reinforces Anurag University’s commitment to
advancing high-quality research, innovation, and industry-oriented
scientific development.

The Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC) of Anurag University is
officially recognized and registered with the Committee for the Purpose of
Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA) — a statutory body constituted under Chapter 4, Section 15(1) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, under the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying.

This recognition authorizes the University to conduct and oversee animal-
based research in compliance with national regulations, ensuring ethical
standards and scientific integrity in all experimental activities.

In accordance with the powers vested under sub-rule (3) of Rule 17 of the
New Drugs and Clinical Trials Rules, 2019, the designated authority in the
Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, has
recognized and authorized the Institutional Human Ethics Committee (IHEC) of Anurag University to perform the duties of an ethics committee as outlined in Chapter IV of the New Drugs and Clinical Trials Rules, 2019.

This recognition enables the IHEC to review, approve, and monitor clinical
research involving human participants, ensuring adherence to ethical
principles, regulatory standards, and the highest levels of scientific
integrity.
