Mechanical Engineering Team Receives Indian Patent Grant

Lokesh, D. Naveen, E. Lokeshwar, K. Nithish, and K. Manas, on receiving an Indian Patent Grant for their innovation titled "A Method of Manufacturing a Composite Plastic Waste Tile." The patent, granted by the Government of India – Intellectual Property India, recognizes their contribution toward sustainable engineering and innovative material development.
The patented technology presents an environmentally responsible approach to utilizing plastic waste by converting it into durable composite tiles. This innovation promotes sustainable waste management, supports circular economy practices, and demonstrates how engineering research can address pressing environmental challenges through practical and scalable solutions.
