AI Faculty Publishes Research on Explainable Machine Learning for Secure FinTech Applications
Mr. Avinash Pal Lidlaan, Assistant Professor, Department of Artificial Intelligence, Anurag University, has successfully published a research article titled “Usability-Aware Explainable Machine Learning for Fraud Detection in Secure Fintech Applications.” The article has been published in Expert Systems, Applications and Security, the proceedings of NICE-TEAS ASIA 2025, as part of Springer Nature’s Algorithms for Intelligent Systems (AIS) Book Series.
The research explores the application of Explainable Machine Learning (XAI) for fraud detection in secure FinTech applications, with a focus on making machine learning-based security systems more usable and interpretable. The work contributes to the growing application of Artificial Intelligence and explainable models in financial technology and cybersecurity.
