"Anurag University Signs Strategic MoU with Signova Group to Transform Agricultural Research and Innovation "

The School of Agricultural Sciences, Anurag University, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Signova Group of Companies, Hyderabad, on 19 September 2026, marking a significant step towards strengthening industry–academia collaboration in agriculture and allied fields. The partnership aims to create new avenues for research, innovation, technology validation, skill development and industry engagement in the agricultural sector.

The MoU establishes a collaborative framework for joint research and sponsored projects, student internships, dissertations and project training, faculty and student exchanges, expert lectures, and laboratory, greenhouse and multi-location field evaluations. The partnership will also support input research, product development, technology validation, consultancy, and scientific publications, giving students and faculty greater exposure to real-world agricultural research and industry practices.

A key focus of the collaboration is to enhance student employability and industry readiness through industry-oriented sales and marketing exposure, placement opportunities, professional engagement, and skill development initiatives. The partnership will also facilitate farmer demonstrations and sustainable agriculture initiatives, while promoting entrepreneurship, technology transfer and capacity building across the agricultural ecosystem.

Through this collaboration, Anurag University and Signova Group of Companies aim to build a stronger ecosystem that connects academic excellence, scientific research, agricultural biologicals, and industry expertise. The initiative is expected to create meaningful opportunities for students, faculty, researchers, and industry professionals while contributing to innovative and sustainable solutions for the evolving needs of agriculture.
