Anudhaban Research Summit Highlights Global Collaboration and India’s Emerging Technology Landscape
The Anudhaban Research Summit brought together distinguished academicians, researchers, industry experts and international speakers to explore artificial intelligence (AI), emerging technologies, interdisciplinary research and global research collaboration.
The summit focused on advancing research, addressing scientific challenges and transforming innovative ideas into meaningful initiatives through collaboration among academia, industry and government. The summit featured project expos and research poster presentations, along with discussions on funding opportunities, future programmes and doctoral research. Experts from the UK, Egypt, Jordan, UAE and USA contributed international perspectives. Prof. Rajiv Mishra, Professor and Head, Department of CSE, IIT Patna, delivered the keynote address, “Revolution in AI: Self-Attention,” covering AI models, Large Language Models, training data, model licensing and Indian Sovereign AI Models. Discussions also explored AI applications in healthcare, education and agriculture, and the role of ChatGPT and emerging AI technologies in supporting students and research.
The summit further emphasized fundamental, basic and applied research, highlighting semiconductors, AI and research-driven technological development while reinforcing the importance of global collaboration in strengthening India’s research and technology ecosystem.
