ECE Faculty Publishes Q2 Research on AI-Based Knee Osteoarthritis Classification and Severity Assessment
Dr. Rajesh Thumma, Associate Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Anurag University, has successfully published a research article titled “Residual Conv-Transformer with Hybrid Attention-Based Knee Osteoarthritis Classification and Optimized Echo State Network for Severity Assessment.”
The research explores an AI-driven approach for knee osteoarthritis classification and severity assessment, integrating a Residual Conv-Transformer with hybrid attention mechanisms and an optimized Echo State Network. The study contributes to the application of advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques in medical image analysis and healthcare-related decision support.
The article has been published in the International Journal of Image and Graphics, published by World Scientific. The journal is indexed in Scopus and Web of Science – ESC, with a CiteScore of 4.5, H-Index of 28, and Q2 quartile.
