Civil Engineering Faculty Publishes Q1 Research in Applied Water Science

Dr. Padala Raja Shekar, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Anurag University, has successfully published a research paper titled “Integrated morphometric and machine learning approach for prioritization of erosion-prone sub-watersheds” in Applied Water Science.
The research integrates morphometric analysis and machine learning techniques to identify and prioritize erosion-prone sub-watersheds, offering a data-driven approach that can support effective watershed planning, soil conservation, and sustainable water resource management.
The publication in a Q1 SCIE-indexed journal, with an Impact Factor of 5.7 and H-Index of 114, highlights Dr. Raja Shekar’s contribution to research in sustainable watershed management.
